Brush In and Out The Graduated Filter in ACR

photoshop_grad_brushThere’s been some major updates to Photoshop and Adobe Camera Raw of late but there’s one feature that’s been hidden away. Its not ‘sexy’ like the Focus Select or as ‘Ooooo’ as the new Content Aware features, but to my mind its one of the most helpful updates.

The Graduated Filter has been in ACR for some time but if what you were adding it to wasn’t straight then you ended up with adjusted parts you didn’t want. Well, the days of dark topped trees are over, we can now erase some of the filter, here’s how it works;
