I’ve had some great feedback from the first quiz so here’s another. This time I’ve tried to really push you so, if you’re new to Photoshop don’t get too disheartened if your score isn’t great. More quizes and maybe even a crossword to follow in the coming weeks, have fun!

I wasn’t sure your point on the Blend Mode question. The blend mode, you can do pick from all those options, multiply, screen, and lighten.

Thanks for the quiz! I had to guess at a couple of them, and guessed wrong. Some things I just don’t use enough. I question the blend mode one since overlapping images shouldn’t lighten them but I would think would just make things darker and darker when overlaid. I got 10 out of 20.. not bad considering a few of the questions were outside what I would know without looking.

Not too bad considering I’m still using CS2 and just upgraded to CS5 yesterday. “You scored 10 out of 20. Your performance has been rated as ‘Satisfactory’”.

The first photoshop quiz I have taken and I enjoyed how it got my mind thinking, I’ve used photoshop at home for two years now teaching myself anything I can and as of September 2010 I’ll be doing Graphic Design at university so I’m happy with the result 10 out of 20 considering a few of these questions was on area’s I felt I had no real base knowledge, I look forward to improving what I know about photoshop and would be very interested in any future photoshop quiz.

I am in the process of upgrading from Elements to CS5 (and am waiting on my Photoshop CS5 to be delivered as I write this). I look forward to trying more quizes and being able to post better results!

Ah Rich, sorry, should be 18. All the questions in this quiz were taken directly from Photoshop’s Help file, as are the questions for the ACE. One, and only one of the blend modes is described exactly as in the question. 18′s nothing to e sniffed at though!
